Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company
Tabas County with a population around 75000 people with an estimated area of55460 square kilometers is located in south west of Khorasan province. Tabas County is reachable by asphalt roads from 5 neighboring provinces, as well as through railways and airports. Tabas County is reach in coal mines estimated 30,000 square kilometers and piled with of 75.2 billion tons of coking and thermal coal; the county is the richest and largest coal area in Iran.
Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company was registered in 2007 with aims to exploit the reserves of Iran's coal paradise, in order to start activity as the first mechanized operator of coal in the country.
Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company enhanced by mechanized mining activities, has conducted more than 30 km of underground drilling and successfully extracted coal from 6 Long-Wall workshops. The company has high records of production 1,300,000 tons of raw coal And 570,000 tons of concentrate, and is able to meet major needs of the domestic market. TPCC has employment 2250 workers directly and about 10,000 people indirectly.
