Sistan-Baluchestan Police Chief Visits Arbaeen Stall  of Sadr Tamin Co in Mirjaveh Border

Tehran- Brigadier General Doostali Jalilian, Sistan-Baluchestan police chief, visited the stall of Sadr Tamin Investment Company on Sunday (September 3) at the Mirjaveh border crossing.

The provincial police commander thanked colleagues from the Sadr Tamin Investment Company and Pars Tamin Mines Development Company for setting up a stall to host the pilgrims of Arbaeen, the website of Sadr Tamin Investment Company reported.

Arbaeen is the end of the 40-day mourning period for the martyrdom of the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Imam Hussein. Hussein ibn Ali, the third Imam of Shia Islam, and his small 72-person party were martyred by Umayyad Caliph Yazid I in 680 AD in the battle of Karbala. Millions of Shia Muslims travel to Iraq each year to walk to Karbala, usually from Najaf, to mark Arbaeen, which literally means 40.

Brigadier general Jalilian visited the stall and was briefed on the medical and other services offered by the two companies to pilgrims at the Iran-Pakistan checkpoint in Mirjaveh.

For the second successive year, Sadr Tamin Investment Company launched the stall at the Mirjaveh border to host pilgrims and offer them healthcare, sanitation, and medical services. Until Wednesday, August 30, Sadr Tamin Investment Company’s stall hosted 28,732 Pakistani pilgrims of whom 5,320 individuals received healthcare and medical services.
