Iran Glass Wool Company Breaks 60-Year Production Record
Tehran- Hadi Haeri, production director of Iran Glass Wool Company, said that the company broke the record for its monthly production.
The company broke its 60-year record last month for the second time in this Iranian year to March 19, 2023, producing 1,079 tons of thermal and acoustic insulation products in a month, Haeri said on Saturday, September 2, the website of Sadr Tamin Investment Company reported.
The company’s production director added that the production of 1,048 tons of glass wool in the Iranian month of Ordibehesht (April 21-May 21) broke the previous production record of producing 994 tons of glass wool in a month, which belonged to the month of Shahrivar of two years ago (August 23-September 21, 2021).
The company, he said, managed to set another record of monthly production of glass wool in the Iranian month of Mordad, 1402 (July 23-August 22, 2023) with the production of 1,079 tons thanks to the efforts by the employees, which had been unprecedented in the past 60 years.
Referring to the designation of this Iranian year as the year of curbing inflation and production growth by the Supreme Leader, Haeri noted that reformulation of the formulation and optimal maintenance and an overhaul of the machines were on the agenda this year.
The measures led to many advantages including improving the quality of glass fibers, increasing the production speed, reducing the raw material waste in the melting furnaces, increasing the life of the melting furnaces, the optimal operation of other related equipment and finally reducing the stoppages caused by technical and production problems, he added.
The production manager explained that the most important reasons for achieving such results were measures such as the increase in the productivity of human resources by adopting the right strategies, creating a scientific approach to designing and monitoring, and using the knowledge and experience of managers, experts and workers of this company.
He noted that improving the formulation of the resin produced by the company as an intermediate product also increased production efficiency and product quality as well as reduced energy consumption.
