Tehran- Ali Mahmoudi, an executive board member and deputy managing director of Sadr Tamin Investment Company (TASSICO) for planning, visited Alvand Tile Company and Ceram Ara Industries Company.

Mahmoudi attended the meetings to review the documents of transformations of the two companies while touring the two firms on Monday, October 16 to become informed of the latest progress made in their ongoing development projects, the TASSICO website reported.

During the visits, he said that the two companies were relatively advanced and had good potential capabilities, stressing that paying attention to the people’s taste and what they desire were of paramount importance for the tile and ceramic business.

“It is necessary to go along with the market’s taste and the needs of the day to become successful in this industry,” he clarified. “Considering this issue, both of these complexes needed to update their products [to be offered] in the domestic and foreign markets.”

Mahmoudi noted that Sadr Tamin Investment Company defined development plans for the two companies to be able to keep pace with the changes in the market taste and needs. These plans were being implemented now, he added.

He explained that the neighboring countries such as Iraq, Pakistan, and Russia had potentially good markets with different tastes, urging domestic tile and ceramic companies to get updated and keep up with the tastes of the day to obtain footholds in these markets.

“These companies will hopefully move in the path of growth and progress with the launch of the pool tile and other development projects,” he said.
