Ceram Ara Industries Co. Performance Reviewed in 1st Quarter
Tehran- Performance of Ceram Ara Industries Company in the first quarter of Iranian year to March 19, 2024 was assessed by top managers of Sadr Tamin Investment Company (TASSICO) on Wednesday, July 19.
The meeting for performance evaluation of Ceram Ara Industries Company was attended by Seyyed Mohammad-Saber Parvaresh, deputy TASSICO chief for companies’ affairs, Mohsen Parvan, deputy chief for finance and administration affairs, Mohammad-Reza Rezvanianzadeh, deputy chief for plans and projects as well as experts and specialists from Sadr Tamin Investment Company.
Other participants of the meeting, which was held at the Conference Hall of Sadr Tamin headquarters, included Mohammad Javad Parchami, chief executive of Ceram Ara Industries Company and the company’s other managers.
Parchami shed some lights on the performance of the company during the three months to June 21, saying that sale of products rose by 71 percent during the period compared to the same three months of the previous year, TASSICO’s website reported
The income, forecast in the budget of the company, was realized by 130 percent of which 80 percent was made by exports of the products, the managing director noted.
The 18-percent margin profit assisted the company to leave behind its loss-making period, he said, adding that the margin profit was achieved thanks to a 262-percent rise in exports of products.
The rise in exports over the first three months was due to registration order for goods in the Iranian year to March, 2023, Pachami said and hoped that teamwork efforts by the company’s employees would lead to the significant rise in exports in the coming months too.
He added that the two projects of the company, which were being implemented, included pool tile and single-fired tile ones of which the former had 40 percent and the latter 80 percent progress.
Other major measures taken by the company was a 60-percent cut in energy consumption through heating element and gas dryers’ phase-out from the glazing line this year, the managing director said.
He explained that the dryers were replaced by light-emitting diodes (LED) and sodium vapor light projectors while reactive power compensation was made through distributed power factor correction, the capacity of the wastewater treatment plant increased and other measures were also taken to reduce energy waste.
Parvaresh concluded the session by praising the management method adopted under Parchami, the young talented CEO, to run the company and expressed satisfaction over the performance of Ceram Ara Industries Company in the first quarter of Iranian year to March 19, 2024.
