CEO of SHASTA during a visit to the Taftan gold mine and plant: This company will become the country’s gold hub

The CEO of Shasta, accompanied by Seyed Alireza Siasi-Rad, CEO of Sadr Tamin Investment Company (TASICO), and Ali Kord, the representative of the people of Sistan and Baluchestan in the Parliament, visited the Taftan gold mine and plant complex.
According to the Public Relations Department of Sadr Tamin Investment Company (TASICO), Mohammadreza Saeedi, during the visit to the Taftan gold mine and in a gathering with local residents, stated: “We aim to expand investment in the Taftan region in the field of precious metals.”
He added that investment in the region will be accompanied by the region’s development, noting: “Local hiring is one of Shasta and its subsidiaries’ priorities for workforce recruitment; therefore, in the Taftan region, priority for staffing will be given to local residents.”
During his visit to the Taftan gold plant, the CEO of Shasta also announced: “The Taftan complex will become Iran’s gold hub, and investment development in Taftan’s gold sector will continue in order to strengthen the national economy and create value for retirees.”
According to Dr. Saeedi, gold extraction and production will increase due to knowledge and expertise.
He also emphasized Shasta’s other missions in the Taftan region and Sistan and Baluchestan Province: “Our priority is social responsibility and employment in the Taftan region. Our true success in gold production is our success in building a better future for the Sistan and Baluchestan region.”
